GIVE UP VASANAS continued.

Sloka 272:

These three types of desires (Deha vasana, Loka vasana & Sasthra vasana) will bind him/her down to Samsar. Those who free from them will attain liberation.

Sloka 273:

The captivating natural fragrance object will lose its good aroma due to the contact of odour objects, Just a water wash may not be sufficient to remove the odour. Some hard wash such as scrubbing may be required to remove bad smell. Likewise, some vasanaas to be removed only by hard discrimination act.

Sloka 274:

Because of Vasanas, human personality get defeat after defeat. The fragrance of the Supreme Self is like sandalwood is covered by the dust of un-ending vaasanas deeply ingrained in the mind. This is being regained through self inquiries and absolute knowledge.
