VIVEKACHUDAMANI TAMIL DISCOURSE : CHAPTER 1 – SLOKA 220 – 222 – AUG-14-2015

Om Namasivaya Nama:

Sloka 220:

By leaving aside the Body, Intellect and Reflection in it and realize in the cave of intellect (inside the heart) the ever illuminating bliss. Because this is the absolute Brahman who witnesses everything and makes everything shine due to its ever pervading and supremely subtle.

Sloka 221:

That Bliss is eternal and omnipresent without exterior or interior which is the one Self. By realizing this bliss one will be free from sin, blemish, grief and death and become the ocean of Bliss.

Sloka 222:

He will never ever undergo pains and sorrows because he being illuminated (realized), he is not afraid of anyone, For him, there is no other path to achieve liberation other than realizing his own Self.

Sin = Negative Vasanas and Merits = Positive Vasanas
Gjnanam = Book knowledge and Vignanam = Experienced knowledge
