Om Namasivaya Nama:

ATMAN other than the Five Kosas

Sloka 211:

This Athman (Self) is self-effulgent and distinct from 5 Kosas (Sheaths). It is the witness of Three States (Jagrath, Swapna & Sushupthi) and everlasting bliss. Therefore a Mumukshu (Wise person / True Seeker) should realize it as his own. Only Self (Atman) exists rest all non-existent, in other words, false truth (like Sunrise and set etc..)

Sloka 212:

If so, What is Atman (Self) asked by Disciple:

Since all five Sheaths are delusion, then what is left over is the state of sheer non-entity (Soonya Akasa). Therefore by which entity one should realize his oneness with Atman?

Sloka 213 & 214:

Nature of the Self-explained by Teacher (Guru):

Oh learned one, you have spoken the right. Let me explain to you. Behind the “Naught” is the Knower knowing the “Nothingness”. After negating everything the “Consciousness” remain THAT is Athman. Whichever you say as “Athman/Brahman” is the Brahman. Without THAT nothing can be known.
