Today, Manasadevi upakhyanam was narrated. Jaralkaru Maharshi left Manasa for penance. Mansa Devi accompanied Lord Siva and Parvathy to stay in Kailas. Later she delivered Asthikyan who is none other than the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Asthikyan received all his basic and advanced education from Lord Siva himself. Thereafter he received blessings from Lord Vishnu and finally Parasakthi. As his mother’s request, he visited Janameyan’s Sarpa Yagna and stopped killing snakes. Indra and all other God’s performed pooja for Manasa Devi.
